Job description
As a Senior ETL Developer, you will work with the customer team to understand as-is state of application and design solutions.
- Design, develop, and test ETL data mappings and workflows using Informatica.
- Tune, optimise, and troubleshoot ETL batch jobs.
- Hands on writing complex SQL queries
- Ensure the solution is optimised enough to provide the required performance.
- Contribute to design and decision making.
- Productionise solutions with security and monitor best practices.
- Innovate and create custom solutions with industry best practices.
Key skills/knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter, Developer, and Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server (Query optimization, Table/view design, sql report creation).
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts.
- Knowledge of Linux Shell scripting.
Experience required:
- Experience in Banking Domain
- Understanding business requirements.
- Understanding of data models and relationships
- Proven experience in data analysis and data validation.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps ways of working.
- Understanding of data modelling concepts.
- Excellent communication skills.
Note: Minimum 7 years experience.
